Auroros has experience providing detailed review of published US doctrine, operational procedures, and systems architecture and leading interviews with those responsible for consequence management response in order to create accurate operational systems and process models and corresponding simulations.

These models and simulations can be constructed in the context of larger operational considerations in order to illustrate the operational consequences related to issues such as insufficient reachback communications during high tempo response operations. Further, these operational environments can be modeled to reflect complexly contaminated environments requiring high levels of personal protection, urban or subterranean environments, tiered involvement of numerous units with differing capabilities, and rapid characterization and even neutralization prior to larger operations being launched. The effect on the ability to prosecute further operations dependent on the successful conclusion of these activities can be assessed. Models of this type are unique, rather than providing typical isolated technology and process depictions, they can be constructed in an operational and timing context that can be used to justify key communications and other budgets. The process models, operationally validated, can also be used as a basis for updating official doctrine.

A significant terrorist attack on a U.S. city requires a unified response by Federal and state forces. The interaction between Federal and state authority and response forces is complicated due to laws requiring limits on federal power, and the sharing of response capability between Title 10 and 32 governed forces. Auroros can provide a thorough analysis and modeling of the integration of Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, state and National Guard doctrine, processes, interaction, response capabilities, throughput capacities, and best practices that are tailored to your situation.
